RPG Player Archetype Specialist Role
The RPG Player Archetype Specialist (PAS) Role is unique to RPG Research, but similar to roles in other professions such as healthcare and emergency responder training.
We use this role to help better train our role-playing game masters, facilitators, and advocates to be better prepared for the "real world" outside of the training labs.
The PAS role is used to help trainees learn to recognize certain traits or patterns of behavior, note if they are disruptive, and learn proper deescalation techniques and behavior guidance techniques to address any challenges any of the more extreme or disruptive types may present.

ADVISORY NOTE: CONSIDER EVERYTHING ON RPG RESEARCH AS A "REQUEST FOR COMMENTS" (RFC). AS WITH EVERYTHING AT RPG RESEARCH, ALL INFORMATION IS PROPOSED BASED ON THE LATEST RESEARCH AND EVIDENCE-IN-PRACTICE INFORMATION. WE WELCOME DIFFERING VIEWPOINTS, PERSPECTIVES FROM MANY DISCIPLINES, ALTERNATE THEORIES, AND ESPECIALLY _CONSTRUCTIVE_ CRITICISM AND FEEDBACK. AS WITH EVERYTHING AT RPG RESEARCH IT IS AN ITERATIVE BEST EFFORT APPROACH THAT GROWS THROUGH THE INVOLVEMENT OF MORE AND DIVERSE CONTRIBUTORS.
